深圳唯致國際學(xué)校的數(shù)學(xué)小組在首輪斯坦福數(shù)學(xué)競賽中榮獲三名的好成績。如此強(qiáng)勢的開端預(yù)示著后期更多好成績的到來。雖然在首輪比賽中，小組成員們的個人成績 并沒有特別突出，但這也讓加強(qiáng)了他們披荊斬棘的信念和動力，力求攻克接下來的五輪比賽并終闖進(jìn)斯坦福大學(xué)參加全球決賽。在Huilin和Catt老師這 對實(shí)力強(qiáng)勁的指導(dǎo)老師帶領(lǐng)下，結(jié)合了中西方獨(dú)特的數(shù)學(xué)技巧及策略，唯致學(xué)校數(shù)學(xué)小組成員們正秣馬厲兵，蓄勢待發(fā)。 Virdom International Academy’s Math Team received 3rd place in Stanford’s first round of the Math League Contest. This strong start is a sign of more accomplishments to come. While no member of the team received a perfect score in this round, students are driven to pass through the next 5 rounds in order to be invited to Stanford University for the world finals. Led by Ms. Huilin and Ms. Catt, a strong combination of Chinese and Western math tactics, the math team is well on their way to succeeding at this overwhelming achievement. 斯坦福數(shù)學(xué)競賽首輪前三名名單： The top three places went to: 1. 杭州十四中學(xué) Hangzhou#14 Secondary School 2. ***國際部 Shanghai High School, International Division 3. 唯致國際學(xué)校 Virdom International Academy 下一輪比賽將在11月12日星期四舉行，我們很有信心蟬聯(lián)前三的好成績。此外，接下來的滑鐵盧大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)競賽將在2015年11月23日(星期四)展開。對于這次比賽我們期待遇到更強(qiáng)勁的對手交鋒切磋，然而我們也有足夠的信心盡大的努力在逾百所互相角逐的學(xué)校中闖進(jìn)前五。 The next round will be this Thursday, November 12th with an excitement to place among the top 3 spots again. After that, the next math competition that students will be competing in will be with the University of Waterloo, scheduled to take place Thursday, November 23rd, 2015. We anticipate even stronger competition for this event but have confidence that our students will do their best to place in the top 5 of the hundreds of schools that will be competing. 加油，數(shù)學(xué)小組的成員們!我們挺你!
